Friday March 12th 2010 DEEPCOVER and The Nite Visions crew visited LA, for a Gold Lion party our friend Hannah threw. One of the Nite Visions Djs “This Is My Empire” had a guest dj spot, so it was only right to come down and support, besides how often we get to go to LA and wreak havoc. The Nite usually starts off with Vodka orange juice and some music, it’s pretty standard we then commence to met up with some friends at the hotel we were all staying at, more pre gaming, we then packed up and went to the party. The venue was grime, but good grime which made us all feel at home. Within 10min of us all getting into the venue the place was riddled with Nite Visions DEEPCOVER stickers and posters, one could say it was over kill, or maybe the vodka, whatever the case we definitely left our mark. The sound was decent and the Gold lion dj’s and “This Is My Empire” played some good tracks that had us dancing all night. Our friend John raged till the early hours, and even right before we all left I could still spot him dancing like a Tasmanian devil on ecstasy, he definitely won most valuable rager award for that weekend. We somehow ended up getting everyone together and then we were off to after hours at our hotel, after this everything was vague; the last thing I remember was riding on the roof of Charlie (This Is My Empires) car and laughing my ass off. All in all it was a great weekend and I can’t wait to do it again.
